If you've been trying to conceive for more than six months, and there has been no fruitful result, it can be as a result of a couple of reasons. From minor reasons like wrong timing, to serious ones like infertility. There are so many factors that can prevent you from conceiving. Let's look at some of them.

OVULATION PROBLEMS

You cannot become pregnant if you are not ovulating. Female infertility is frequently caused by lack of ovulation, which can be brought on by a variety of causes. One potential reason for not ovulating is polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). The possibility of being overweight or underweight is another factor. The majority of persons who experience ovulation issues have irregular periods.

AGE

It may take longer for women over 35 to become pregnant. Many people believe their fertility is good if they still have regular periods, but this isn't always the case. Both egg number and quality are impacted by age. Infertility issues may also affect men beyond the age of 40.

MALE INFERTILITY

Two people of the opposite sex are needed to become pregnant, unless you use medical procedures like sperm or egg donation. Problems with fertility do not just affect those who plan to carry the child. Rarely does male infertility manifest signs that can be seen without a semen analysis, a test that evaluates the sperm and semen's health. Make sure you and your partner are tested for fertility problems.

WRONG TIMING

Timing is important if you are trying to conceive. Having sex before your Fertility window will mostly likely not lead to pregnancy. Knowing your menstrual cycle will give you an overhead advantage of getting pregnant.

If a couple tries for six to twelve months, they usually get pregnant naturally, though some women have more trouble. Consult a doctor if you've been trying to conceive for a year.
