Cicle Made It Possible

I won't have a PCOS success story without CICLE. My journey has been a tough one, but I scaled through with the help of the wonderful people at CICLE. As I am writing this now, I am a mother to the most perfect child that there is.

Let me backtrack a little. I started having the symptoms of PCOS sometime in my teenage years. I first noticed the weight gain because I was very cautious about my looks. I was really popular in school, so my looks were everything to me. I noticed I started gaining weight for no particular reason, and it always freaked me out. I cut back on a lot of food, but I still kept gaining weight. It got so bad that I had to get new clothes. I didn't realize then that the weight gain was a symptom of PCOS. A few years later, my face was covered in acne and my period came whenever it felt like it. My hormones were messing with me and it felt like I was always angry. I'd snap at the littlest provocation. It was really terrible.

My mom noticed it and took me to the hospital. Without running any tests, they assumed my hormones were that way because I was a teenager, so we were sent home with nothing but a wrong diagnosis. So, I kept living with PCOS for years, and it grew worse. In 2020, my husband and I started going to fertility clinics because we'd tried and failed to conceive for four years prior to that time. We found out during one of the visits that I suffer from PCOS, but nothing was done to manage my symptoms. COVID came and then we were stuck at home. It was towards the end of the lockdown that I found out about CICLE. I finally decided to try CICLE in 2021 and I do not regret my decision.
